- Could it be you are connecting to a modem with an AT&T chipset?
- There's an ISP in Portugal with Nokias (using the said chipset) which
- causes disconects at 28.8 with Zooms, Sportsers, Bocas, you name
- it... unless you disable LAPM in your modem, or lower the speed.
